Representative Case

"Soil and Water co-management", to create a new model of urban and rural coordinated development -- Yunyang Project

Water and soil co-governance, green development, targeted poverty alleviation, to create an integrated ecological agriculture around water. We advocate the principle of "soil first in water control", starting with soil restoration, to reduce nitrogen and phosphorus entering fresh water and coastal water bodies. We are committed to the protection of the water environment in the Yangtze River basin, starting from the source, focusing on "the source and the end", and implementing joint water and soil management in Yibin, Chongqing, Yunyang, Shanghai and other areas.

On July 22, 2016, BGB signed three cooperation agreements with Yunyang District, integrating 1.3 billion yuan of funds. 13 counties and cities along the Han River have jointly developed organic agriculture with soil and water co-governance and environmental protection, with an area of more than 150,000 mu. On December 7, 2018, the Department of Environmental Resources of the National Development and Reform Commission and the Paulson Foundation jointly recommended the classic case of environmental protection in the Yangtze River Basin.
